ABOUT US

Co-owned and operated by both Jeff and Diane Wacker, established in the fall of 1996, SALON PLATINUM started out as a tiny 7 chair salon, inside a warehouse building located in a commercial/industrial center hidden away in a little unknown newer city. Against a lot of nay~sayers and disbelievers we ventured on with little cash, big dreams and a lot of late nights and elbow grease!

Establishing a NEW concept in the industry by choosing to be a "RENTAL ONLY" salon, we maintain an atmosphere of Independence by supporting our stylists in every way in becoming INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS. In running their own show by allowing them to design, market and advertise their "OWN BRAND" and by personally answering their own phones, booking their own clients, they develop closer relationships and provide better client service. Also a unique idea we allow our stylists to select and sell their own retail products at their station, allowing them to choose the haircare products that are right for their clients and allowing them to make additional revenue as a bonus. As well as setting their own work schedule and allowing them to dress in their own personal style they develop mini-entities inside our salon, show greater confidence and business presence to their clients.
